Advanced Cosmetology: Classification of Instructional Program (CIP Code 12.0407)
The curriculum involves 600 hours. It also includes 150 course prep hours to be completed outside the classroom. The program prepares individuals to shampoo, cut, style, set, and dress hair for women and or men, braid hair, apply hair cosmetics and wigs. Includes instruction and practical experience in chemical applications, applications such as eyebrows, eyelashes, eyeliner, lips, lipliner and after care, laws and regulations and business practices.
Students are prepared to be an entry level cosmetologist.
